Entry Requirements

At the University of Roehampton, we accept a range of international qualifications for entry to our programmes.

For Qatari students joining one of our pathway programmes, we accept the qualifications in the table below.

Programme Qualifications English language requirement
International Foundation Programme
  • General Secondary Education School Certificate with grades 60% or above (GCSE equivalent).
  • 12 years of schooling or the local equivalent to meet the same standard
  • Where a UCAS tariff is applicable or relevant, applicants should have an equivalent 100 UCAS points at A Level or 120 UCAS points at AS Level
  • The lower entry requirement shall apply if both a country specific and UCAS equivalent apply
  • iGCSE with pass grades is accepted for direct entry – a SELT is required in addition
3 term programme: IELTS 4.5 (with no single element below 4.0) from a UKVI Approved centre

 

2 term programme: IELTS 5.0 (with no single element below 4.5) from a UKVI Approved centre

International Year One (Business) General Secondary Education Certificate with a minimum grade average of 70% IELTS 5.5 (with no single band below 5.5)

I studied BSc Business Management, MA Marketing Management and also hold a professional qualification in Project Management (PRINCE2).

Stephen Neil – International Officer

After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2017, I began my journey in higher education. The thing I love most about working in higher education is that you can make a real difference to people’s lives! I was raised in London and I am based in the London Campus – it would be great to speak with you or even see you at one of our campuses!

Smail El-Moize – International Officer

I am a higher education specialist and have worked in the field of higher education for the last decade. I have a comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience of working within international schools and universities in the UK and overseas. As an International Officer, one of my responsibilities is to manage International student and stakeholder networks in the MENA region.

Places of worship

London is a multicultural city and has a wide selection of places to worship. In addition to that, the University maintains its own multi-faith quiet rooms and prayer rooms on the ground floor of Queen’s Building (QB). The prayer rooms are accessible with your ID card throughout the day, and people of all faiths are very welcome to use them.

Many places of worship near to the University of Roehampton campus hold special student events and services, so meeting new people will be easy.
