Entry Requirements

At the University of Roehampton, we accept a range of international qualifications for entry to our programmes.

For Chinese students joining one of our pathway programmes, we accept the qualifications in the table below.

Programme Qualifications English language requirement
International Foundation Programme Completion of Senior Secondary School Year 3 with 60% average.  Completion of Senior Secondary School Year 2 with 70% average. Gao Kao Certificate not required. 3 term programme: IELTS 4.5 (with no single element below 4.0) from a UKVI Approved centre

2 term programme: IELTS 5.0 (with no single element below 4.5) from a UKVI Approved centre

International Year One (Business) Senior Middle 2 with a minimum grade average of 80% or Senior Middle school 3 with a minimum average of 70% or higher IELTS 5.5 (with no single band below 5.5)

Places of worship

London is a multicultural city and has a wide selection of places to worship. In addition to that, the University maintains its own multi-faith quiet rooms and prayer rooms on the ground floor of Queen’s Building (QB). The prayer rooms are accessible with your ID card throughout the day, and people of all faiths are very welcome to use them.
