- International Foundation Programme: 5 GCSE/iGCSE passes at grade A-C, or equivalent
- International Year One: Good High School Grades, or equivalent
English language requirements
- IELTS 5.0 with no single element below 4.5 – International Foundation Programme
- IELTS 4.5 with no single element below 4.0 – You will need to complete an additional term of English before joining the International Foundation Programme
- IELTS 5.5 with no single element below 5.5 – International Year One
Minimum age requirements
- You must be 17 in the month before the course start date, students who are under the age of 18 will be assessed in line with the University’s Safeguarding Policy

What is a Combined CAS?
A Combined CAS is issued for the study of the International Foundation Programme and main programme of degree study. A combined NQF 6 CAS can only be issued if students have achieved an overall IELTS score of 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each band or has an accepted High School English test. The accepted High School English tests are listed under the combined English Language requirements and can only be accepted if they have been taken within the last 2 years similarly to IELTS. Any tests taken within 2 – 5 years of the programme start date would require a student to have been within continuous education since taking the High School English test.
