Biography:
Julius Ejechi is a lecturer in accounting and finance. He is a part-time visiting lecturer in Westminster Business School at the University of Westminster. He is also a visiting teaching fellow in the School of Finance and Management at SOAS University of London, where he is pursuing his doctorate.
Julius holds an MSc degree with a distinction in finance from Coventry University. He is a fellow academic of the Association of International Accountants and a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association.
Julius has taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules in accounting, finance, business, mathematics, and risk. He has also supervised undergraduate and master’s dissertations.
His previous roles include lecturer in accounting and finance and programme leader at the University College Birmingham; lecturer in accountancy and functional mathematics at QA Higher Education; and lecturer in accountancy and business, and programme coordinator AAT Courses at Walsall College.
His research interests include:
- Accounting for climate-related risks
- Impact of green fintech on climate risk mitigation
- Impact of fintech on business financing, economic growth, and financial inclusion
- The economic impact of further education colleges, universities, and alternative higher education providers
- Valuation and tax modelling of oil and gas assets and renewable energy investments
