Biography:
Jo Whitefoot is a lecturer in business and finance at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Jo’s area of expertise include financial decision making and management, introduction to accounting, banking and finance, credit analysis, corporate finance, financial derivatives, and portfolio and risk management.
She is a lecturer on the national Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance (ADAF) curriculum, part of the globally recognised qualification of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). She also teaches bank accreditation courses in corporate finance, financial analysis and syndicated lending. She is qualified to teach English as a foreign language.
After graduating from university with a degree in modern languages, Jo enjoyed a long-standing career in international banking, spanning both the loan and the bond markets, working for several major international banks in London, Paris and New York. She also ran and was editor of a real-time financial news service, covering the loan and bond markets across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Jo also provides freelance training in Credit & Banking at Moody’s Analytics, concentrating on accounting in business, debt and equity financing, leveraged and asset finance, decision making, financial derivatives, and corporate finance.
