At our London Holborn, Birmingham and Manchester centres, you can benefit from a central, friendly campus environment with a mixture of cultures and nationalities.
As a student at any one of our centres, you are automatically a member of the Students Activities Association (SAA). The purpose of the SAA and its voluntary student Ambassadors is to engage with students and assist the running of student-centered events across campus.
The Student Relations and Events Officer leads the SAA and is your point of call for student events and societies.
The Officer is based in London, located in Student Services or in the breakout areas, and travels to the Birmingham Campus frequently. Among other things, the Officer runs social events and trips, such as discounted theatre and sightseeing trips, hosts competitions, cultural events and activities as well as runs societies: Business Club, Student Magazine, and Football Club.
The Officer also recruits SAA Ambassadors to help run events, work with various departments and represent the University. Ambassadors ensure that a range of activities run at each campus and that clubs and societies are supported.

You are encouraged to actively participate with the SAA. Please call in on campus, you don’t need a reason and there will always be someone to talk to about the activities you can take part in, or organise for your peers.
