Academic Community of Excellence (ACE) Team
The ACE Team are on hand to guide you to achieve academic excellence, from first year right through to graduation. The team offer a range of services to help you excel throughout your studies including:
Personal Tutorials: 30-minute pre-bookable 1:1 virtual or face-to-face tutorials with a member of the team. Whether you need help understanding your assignment and what is expected of you or guidance on how to complete a study task, the team is here to help.
Online Workshops: delivered virtually, throughout the day, evenings and on Saturdays. Our online real-time workshops cover a variety of academic subjects. All sessions are regularly repeated, so don’t worry if you miss one! The full schedule can be found on your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
Self-access Learning Guides: there are a wide range of learning materials assessable on the ACE page of your VLE, based on common questions and academic needs. These helpful videos, quick guides and PowerPoint presentations can easily be accessed on the go, at any time.

We have a dedicated Accommodation Support Team here to help you find the perfect place to live, that fits in with your budget and lifestyle. As our Roehampton University Centres are located in major cities, there are plenty of options to choose from due to the fantastic transport links available.

Careers Service
It’s never to soon to be thinking about your career and improving your employability. Our dedicated Careers Team are here to help you secure graduate roles, sharpen your professional skills and find internships. Whether you have a clear idea of your career path, or need some help finding the right direction, our team have a variety of resources available to you.
1:1 Appointments: carried out by our Career Consultants, offering career guidance that is completely bespoke to suit your needs and the sector you are interested in pursuing a career in.
Career Development Resources: whilst studying with us you receive unlimited access to our Careers Portal, QA Higher Education Careers Online, full of resources including practice tests and employer videos. You are also automatically signed up to receive a weekly careers newsletter, highlighting job opportunities, events in your local area and on-campus workshops.
Internship and Placement Service: designed to help you obtain industry-related work experience, as well as paid work. Whether you need to develop your employability skills or as part of your Advance Practice Masters, we have a helpful team available to help you source your perfect placement.

Library Services
Our Centres libraries are an essential service to help our students with their studies and are an integral part of the university. There are a range of great services and support available to you. Our team has developed an Online Library Portal packed with support materials in both text and video formats, available to access on the go, whenever you need it. The portal includes reading lists, guides for referencing, a catalogue to find textbooks, and much more!
If you need help on a specific topic, the team are available for a 1:1 appointment, both online and virtually. When attending our libraries all students have access to a variety of IT equipment and quiet places for studying.

Welfare Team
